Check if your processor is x64 (64-bit) compatible

Follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open "Control Panel" of your system.

                         OR

    Hold Windows key and press Pause Break key to open system properties.

Step 2: Search for "Performance Information and Tools". Then, click on the appeared link.

Step 3: It should take you to the Windows Experience Index window. Click on Print Details (bottom right)

 

Step 4:  On the opened page, scroll down a bit. Look for below details under System category:

• System Type is your installed 32-bit/64-bit operating system.
• 64-bit capable must be YES. If the value is YES, system is compatible with 64-bit operating system.
